How to get there - Map. North of the Isle of Skye, just East of Uig. There are no public transports going there (nearest bus stop in Uig and the 30min walk) Single lane road after the turn in Uig. Portree to Fairy Glen = 25min drive. Uig to Fairy Glen = 5min drive.

Take a shuttle bus from Portree in the summer months operated by Go Skye. Go on a guided tour from Portree that includes the Fairy Glen. The Go Skye operators run tours from March to September to all the famous spots the Isle of Skye is known for: The Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Lealt Falls, Quiraing, Uig Brewery, Uig Pottery and the Fairy Glen.

Nice drive around the North West of Skye intending to finish with the Fairy Glen. Car park £2, about 600m walk along mud racks between the ferns to get to it.
